Aug. 26, 2021: BASIS Bellevue - Junior & Senior School. The BASIS Bellevue project will replace an existing school use on this site with minimal impact, over the course of 4 phases from 2020 to 2026. It involves the minor interior alteration of the seven code defined buildings on the site, no exterior building work except refreshed paint and a few new windows in one building only, facing the interior of the site. Minor site upgrades will maintain existing character and perimeter buffers and will include a monument sign in Phase 1, an internal site gas line extension in Phase 2, frontage work required by the City of Bellevue in Phase 3, and a new synthetic turf field and surrounding paving and planting elements on the interior of the site in Phase 4. Less than 50% of any individual building or site area will be altered and less than 50% of any individual building or site value will be altered in all phases. The maximum student population and age group allowed under the current conditional use permit will not be altered in Phase 1 and 2 from the current limits of 475 students in grades PreK-8 with 25%, but are proposed tol be altered in Phase 3 and 4 to 500 students max in grades PreK-12 with 25% max in PreK., 21 105938 BW
