The proposed project is located on an existing 17,859 sf (0.41 ac.) lot zoned R-5 located on the south side of SE Newport Way between 152nd Ave SE and 154th Ave SE. The applicant proposes to subdivide the subject parcel. The applicant intends to remove the existing residence and improvements as a part of this project. Access to the project site will be provided by a new driveway or private road in a similar location to the existing driveway.

Through the Pre-Development Services process the applicant will be assessing whether to purchase the adjacent lot to the east to expand the proposed project. The abutting lot slopes steeply toward a Vasa Creek tributary. A Wetland and Stream Reconnaissance for this stream is included in the application materials along with a survey depicting steep slope areas.
