March 22, 2022: PSE BTR-22 UG Conversion. Puget Sound Energy, Inc. (PSE) proposes to convert a portion of its overhead Bridle Trails Circuit 22 (BTR-22) distribution line to underground. The portion of the overhead distribution line had numerous feeder outages from trees and tree branches going through the overhead distribution line along a cross-country section of feeder near NE 60th Street between 132nd Avenue NE and 140th Avenue NE. The densest trees are within an 1,100-foot section between 140th Avenue NE and PSE's distribution lines, which is where the greatest number of outages are occurring. This project proposes to move this section of BTR-22 distribution line underground to improve reliability for PSEs customers in the area.
