April 11, 2023: Sagebrook Adaptive Reuse. Great Expectations LLC is submitting application to re-imagine the Sagebrook Senior Living Center (which is currently operating at a very high vacancy) into affordable, transit oriented multifamily housing. The new ownership is anticipated to be a non-profit and the units rented at 60% AMI. Intent is to add kitchenettes to the 2 story, East building, which contains 77 units. The 3 story West building, which contains 31 units will undergo minor unit cosmetic upgrades. Bulleted list of the scope below:

East Building (Existing Main Bldg. - 2 stories 77 units): Previous remodel per City of Bellevue permit # 14-144688 BZ.
New unit scope includes: Cosmetic finish updates (vinyl floor, cabinets, countertops), & addition of kitchenettes. MEP includes water supply & waste for new kitchen sinks and cooktop stove. Building will retain the existing electrical service, with modifications to provide metered feeders from the service, with panels in and for each of the living units added. Modifications to the wiring for outlets in the living units. Lock access to common areas as indicated in plans. This will not impede exit path or egress.

West Building (Existing Annex Bldg. - 3 story 31 units): previous remodel per City of Bellevue permit # 14-144914 BY. Minor re-framing in studio units, paint, drywall.
