April 14, 2023: COBP Newcastle Beach Park Beach Bulkhead Repair. EMERGENCY MITIGATION WORK: The existing swim beach bulkhead has recently been undermined. This maintenance work is to prevent further erosion to this structure until a permanent solution can be determined and appropriately permitted. This work will be completed by in-house Parks maintenance staff and will not involve any ground disturbance or heavy equipment. This work will be removed when the long-term solution can be executed.
