Oct. 2, 2023: BelPres Kids Program Relocation. The proposed project includes interior alteration of existing office space at Level 1 and Level 2 of the existing Bellevue Presbyterian Church (BelPres) building. (12) classrooms and (2) kid's worship spaces, support spaces, restrooms, and a check-in area at Level 1 are proposed. Existing Building 1 already contains Group E occupancy. This project proposed to expand the Group E occupancy and reduce the Group B occupancy. Existing occupancy separations will be maintained between uses. The proposed work will include selective demolition of interior partitions, ceilings, and finishes. The existing seismic joints will remain. No changed are proposed to the primary structural system. Fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems will be reconfigured for the proposed layout.
