Dec. 12, 2023: Bevan Residence. Remodel and expansion of existing single family residence. Project site is a sloping shoreline lot along Lake Washington that includes surveyed areas of steep slope. Existing development includes a 2 story residence with daylit basement, carport, and several accessory structures. There is an existing large paved driveway as well as shared driveways with the neighboring residences. Remodel scope includes leveling the stepped floorplates and rebuilding the raised deck. The existing carport is proposed for conversion into a garage. Expansion scope includes a footprint increase between the existing structures, providing an accessible connection between the garage and residence. An additional minor expansion on the downhill side of the residence provides added living space. A covered, unenclosed, entryway is proposed on the uphill side of the project. The exterior scope involves reworking ground level paths, with minor impervious surfaces increases for new patios. The primary patio SW of the residence will require raising the grade 24" to meet interior finish floor level. There are 2 significant trees proposed for removal and replacement on the waterside of the residence.
