2 Enatai Dr

Dec. 13, 2023: 2 Enatai Geotech Borings. This project is an update of the 2 Enatai Drive Lake Line Sewer Pipe Improvement project previously permitted under 20 114872 DC and 20 123012 WG. The proposed project was moved 9 feet to the east of the original location.
City of Bellevue Utilities Operations and Maintenance flushes the sanitary sewer lakeline that runs along the shore of Lake Washington nightly to prevent any solid build up. Some areas cannot be cleaned properly due to the limited water pressure and access. Operations and Maintenance have identified the need for clean outs and access ports to jet the sewer lakeline in the Killarney segment located in the general area north of I 90. This project would install a sanitary sewer cleanout vault consisting of 8 inch CL 52 dip with protective 401 lining, a replacement manhole, two approximately 25 foot long buried pipe connections, that will provide access to City Operations and Maintenance crews to jet the lakeline when a blockage is formed. The project will occur within a 10 foot sewer easement located on private property, TPN 0824059018.
Geotechnical drilling will occur in two boring location, H 1 and H 2, using hollow stem augers to a maximum depth of 40 feet or refusal, whichever comes first. It will occur from the land side, above the water line, and upslope from the existing retaining wall. The boring locations will be backfilled with bentonite chips on the same day. No grading, instrumentation or wells are anticipated.

Dec. 27, 2023: Completed.
