Meydenbauer Bay Park Phase 2. We are progressing a 2010 master plan document to schematic design. Part of this process is verifying the master plan complies with current conditions and codes.
Work includes redevelopment of upland and shoreline parcels and associated right-of-way work to create a cohesive public park integrated with the existing Meydenbauer Bay Park.
Project includes:
- enclosed, semi-enclosed, and open-air gathering spaces,
- surface and/or structured parking,
- reconfigured and/or new overwater infrastructure for marina, pedestrian, and boater experience,
- and accessibility- and experience-focused pedestrian infrastructure.
Associated right-of-way work may include:
- shared use path along Lake Washington Blvd NE,
- closure and/or reconfiguration of 100th Ave SE / Bellevue Place and associated impacts to Meydenbauer Way SE / 101st Ave SE,
- enhanced intersection at Lake Washington Blvd / 100th Ave SE / Main St,
- and dead end and / or reconfiguration of 99th Ave NE.
