July 16, 2024: Aventine Apartments. This project consists of minor alterations to an existing, occupied apartment building to make it suitable as supportive affordable housing with services.
These changes include converting two existing units to resident management and support spaces, as well as improvements to existing egress paths and access control, and minor repairs such as security improvements, fencing, and additional low voltage cameras. The work will also improve accessibility in 5 of the units.
There will be no changes to the number of existing parking garage spaces or the building use.
This is an affordable housing project partially funded by the City of Bellevue, and it's the #1 funding priority for both Bellevue and King County.
