Oct. 28, 2024: 2038 155th PL NE Apartment Fire/Water Damage Flrs 2-7. Damage assessment performed 10/28/24 of Hyde Square apartments. The fire started in a unit on the 7th floor and caused one sprinkler head to break, flooding multiple units, traveling down to the second floor. Water damage is visible in the drywall, in both walls and ceilings in the units below, the effected drywall will need to be removed for further assessment and inspection. A BZ building permit is required for all units effected, along with a fire alarm permit, fire sprinkler permit, smoke control permit and electrical permit. If the current tenants desire to continue occupying, kitchens, bathrooms, and all life safety systems will need to be functioning for the entire duration of the repairs.
