Feb. 25, 2025: I-90 EB WLS Paving Project XL6947. The mainline pavement of I-90 EB from MP 13.77 to MP 18.07 is showing signs of deterioration. Based on the Washington State Pavement Management System (WSPMS), this segment has an average minimum due year of 2024. This project will grind and inly pavement with an estimated depth of 0.15' Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) of the EB lanes of I-90 within the City of Bellevue. Pavement repair is estimated at 5% of the total area for the mainline. The actual resurfacing depth and repairs will be determined by the Resurfacing Report.
There are no City of Bellevue residents within 500 feet of the project area. The closest one is over 1000 feet away. All work will be within WSDOT Right of Way (ROW).
Construction is expected from 8:00 PM to 7:00 AM weekdays Monday through Friday, and 6:00 PM to 8:00 AM on weekends. The expected dates for this project will be between July 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025. We expect the project to take 20 cumulative nights within the City of Bellevue, both nonconsecutive and consecutive nights.
