The Pumphouse - Restaurant Addition. Additions to an existing 1-story commercial restaurant building:
1.) A new detached outdoor dining structure (640 SF), and
2.) Addition to the restaurant entry (140 SF) to make the entrance accessible and provide a new accessible restroom for the restaurant.
No change from current use - restaurant. Addition is to be constructed per plans as a detached structure adjacent to the primary existing building to replace and enhance previously permitted COVID-19 exterior outdoor seating.
The existing building is 2,025 SF with proposed additions totaling approximately 780 SF, for a new proposed building area of 2,805 SF. This project will be utilizing the upcoming Wilburton LUCA.
The current design proposal utilizes intermodal shipping containers to create a cost-effective and durable space for dining. The project proposes to create 2 separate fire areas to keep each area of occupancy under 100 occupants because the existing building is non-sprinklered.
