April 28, 2025: King County WTD ESI-8 Project Noise Variance. Noise Variance request to operate bypass pumps outside of construction hours. The bypass system must operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to continue conveying wastewater south through the Eastside Interceptor system to the South Treatment Facility in Renton. Public interest dictates the necessity of being able to provide continuous wastewater treatment collection to Bellevue and the greater Eastside area. Failure to carry out the necessary repairs and upgrades included as part of this project would be detrimental to thousands of homes, businesses and organizations in the region and the reliable wastewater service the region currently depends on., 25-101990-DB
