Oct. 20, 2025: One Bellevue Center Plaza Repair Project. The existing original waterproofing at the Plaza level of the One Bellevue Center is experiencing failures and has reached the end of its useful life. The failures in the plaza waterproofing are causing water leaks in the building and garage structure below. The project will replace all existing waterproofing at the plaza, including all planter waterproofing. This will require that we remove all existing paving and concrete topping at the plaza in order to install new waterproofing below. It will also include removal of all planter materials (plantings, trees, and dirt) in order to replace failed waterproofing at the planters. The replacements will largely go back like in kind, but some minor updates may be made such as addition of a new small canopy, changes to paver patterns and materials, built-in seating updates, etc. The Existing property lines extend into the ROW (public ROW and building owned areas under City sidewalk easement) and the project will need to remove some of the sidewalk areas in order to complete the waterproofing replacement work.
