1901 120th Ave NE
June 30, 2026: OMF-East Vegetation Management Project. The Central Puget Sound Regional Transit Authority (Sound Transit) is proposing tree snagging, pruning, and removal of 75 trees in critical areas that pose a risk to the Operations and Maintenance Facility East (OMF-East) at 1901 120th Ave NE on Parcel 0670100010. The vegetation maintenance work at OMF-East is in response to a large black cottonwood falling across Bellevue Way and striking the westbound light rail guideway near the South Bellevue Parking Garage in late 2021. The OMF-East Vegetation Management Project (OMFE Project) is intended to protect Sound Transit infrastructure and ensure safe operation of light rail in the City of Bellevue.
